Ana Frank (1929-1945) fue una joven judía que pereció en el Holocausto. Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, su familia se vio obligada a esconderse de la Gestapo, y en esas condiciones de hacinamiento, ella escribió un diario de sus experiencias y pensamientos. Después de la guerra, su padre, Otto Frank, descubrió su diario y, conmovido por su madurez y profundidad de sentimientos, lo publicó, originalmente con el título de «Diario de una joven», y más tarde como «Diario de Ana Frank». Ana Frank (1929-1945) was a young Jewish girl who perished in the Holocaust. During the Second World War her family were forced to hide from the Gestapo, and in the cramped conditions, she kept a diary of her experiences and thoughts. After the war, her father Otto Frank discovered her diary and, struck by her maturity and depth of feeling, published it – originally under the title ‘Diary of A Young Girl‘ – later as “Diary of Anne Frank”.
